Okay, I figured it was about time I tried being a bit more upbeat, and wouldn't you know it, but this time, it paid off. For the past few months, I've been saving money for college, and yesterday, after applying for a few, I got an acceptance letter.
For those who know me, you may find this a bit akward, and slightly weird. But, as I opened the letter, I found that I had been accpeted....into Stanford Law School. Of course, I was overjoyed, and proceded to dance and yell joyously. My mother, on the other hand, was not quite as happy as I was, for some reason. But care I do not, for the love and joy within my heart is far to great at this moment to care about the downside. Sure, chances are I won't be able to go, due to money and whatnot, but the matter that I did at least get accepted to such an establishment is such a great honor to myself and my family that the knowledge is good enough, I would like to think.
